Shirley is a graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in Hispanic Relations.  She has been a life member of the Institute of Certified Travel Agents since 1987. During Shirley’s career she has served on the PATA board, committees for promotion of travel to Africa and the Ritz Carlton travel industry advisory committee.

For 17 years Shirley had her own company. Her emphasis has always been on the client and his or her needs. She says it might be time to retire, but then her passion for the job is rekindled with a request for something unique and challenging. She loves to travel and discover new places and people and she is always expanding her knowledge of properties, politics and history.

Shirley’s love for Africa is demonstrated by 13 trips to East and Southern Africa since 1973.  She finds it the most unique place in the universe – totally unexpected adventures and it is spirituality unequalled anywhere else.  Yachting has always been an interest and she has been fortunate enough to participate as a spectator at many of the America’s Cup trials.

Many of her current clients are children of her clients from the beginning of her career and she can still come up with the “perfect trip."
