15 years experience in the Travel Industry

My love of travel began when I was a child.  Visiting our travel agent’s office to book our annual family vacation to the Bahamas was a source of inspiration for me.  I realized at the young age of seven that I had found my calling!  After high school graduation, I decided to follow my heart, and do some traveling.  I went to Cancun, Cozumel, and many times to the Cayman Islands, where I became a certified diver.  Through the friendships I created, I also traveled to Australia, Fiji and Hawaii.  One of my other favorite trips prior to becoming a travel agent was taking the train to Colorado and riding my bicycle over the Rocky Mountains.  It was the combination of these experiences that made me confident that it was my destiny to become a travel agent.

Since then, I have been fortunate enough to travel to Europe, Alaska, Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, go to New Zealand a couple of times (one of my favorite spots).  I love learning about the indigenous culture and getting to know the locals. When I am not busy traveling, I enjoy being a Girl Scout Troop Leader to my daughter’s girl scout troop and acting like a kid while being a positive role model and having an impact in girls’ lives.  My personal hobbies are kayaking, whitewater rafting, cycling, bargain shopping, scuba diving, snorkeling, photography, and spending time with my 11 year old daughter laughing, singing and dancing.  Carpe Diem!

My passion is making people’s dream trips come true.  I enjoy learning about the travelers I am working with; learning their interests, hobbies, likes and dislikes, and making recommendations based on what would work best for them and their budgets.  I pride myself on providing top-notch service with a smile.  Traveling these days requires knowledge and I like to alleviate the pressure and stress of traveling by helping to educate my clients on some tricks of the trade, and local knowledge and tidbits.
