Was it those long train journeys across the US with her grandparents that left the sweet taste of travel in Debby Baratta?  Or was it spending the summer after graduation with a bunch of friends in Europe?  Or was it attending school in England and Austria?  Probably a combination of the above.

Debby Baratta is from Reno, Nevada and earned her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts there before heading off to Colorado to complete her Master's in Fine Arts and Painting.  She moved to San Francisco in the mid 70’s with her husband and decided a career in travel was more to her liking.  In 1978, after completing a course at the San Francisco School of Travel, she began working with Theresa Detchemendy at See & Sea travel, a SCUBA dive tour operator.  In 1987, with two kids and a hundred countries under her belt, she and Theresa began Rascals In Paradise. The thrill of travel and helping others is more alive than ever.  She handles luxury itineraries for families to the South Pacific, Asia and Europe.  She has no greater pleasure than sharing her knowledge of travel with families wanting to build travel memories with their own children.
