One of the most popular questions our Corporate Travel Specialists get asked is "Can't I find this cheaper on the internet?" While we recognize that the internet is a great way to research travel (and we even offer our own online booking tool), we are confident that we can get you the lowest fare available for any flight on the US domestic market. We're so confident in fact that we've decided to offer a Low Fare Guarantee.

The Low Fare Guarantee

When you book an airline ticket on www.casto.com or with a Casto travel specialist, and then find a lower airfare for the same flights, dates, airline, and number of travelers on another website, you may be entitled to a Casto gift card equal to the fare difference.

Terms and Conditions

The Casto Low Fare Guarantee is available to any customer who makes a qualifying airfare purchase through the www.casto.com website or via a Casto travel specialist. The qualifying purchase must occur on or after August 1, 2007. The Guarantee applies only for travel within the domestic fifty (50) United States and only for tickets purchased using a valid credit card with a United States billing address. It applies only to the total airfare and does not apply to differences based on service, booking, processing, shipping, paper-ticket, and other fees not collected on the airline ticket.

If you find an airfare and can show that this is a purchasable airfare [1], for the same flights and dates of travel on the same airline, with the same flight numbers, for the same number of passengers, itinerary, cabin, and subject to the same fare restrictions on any other full service travel web site that is at least five dollars ($ 5) lower than the airfare being quoted by Casto and a Casto agent is unable to purchase that same flight, Casto will refund you the fare difference.

To submit a claim, e-mail Casto at lowfareguarantee@casto.com by midnight Pacific Standard Time (PST) of the same day you booked your Casto flights. Claims may not be submitted to any other email address or Casto phone number. Be sure to include the following details:

  • Subject: Low Fare Guarantee
  • Company Name
  • Your Full Name
  • Complete web address (URL) where you found the lower airfare
  • Screenshot of the offer, including all fees, taxes, and total (either the itinerary confirmation or the summary page just prior to purchase)

You will receive a response to your claim within 10 business days.

The Casto Low Fare Guarantee applies to lower airfares of five dollars ($ 5) or greater found on another full-service travel web site or airline website. The confirmed airfare you purchased through Casto will be compared to the airfare on the other site at the last point immediately prior to purchase. Fares must be compared with like fare restrictions, so for example if an unrestricted airfare is purchased through Casto it will not qualify for the Low Fare Guarantee if it is compared to a restricted airfare found on another website.

The Casto Low Fare Guarantee does not apply to lower airfares that are available on www.casto.com or to refundable tickets that you choose to refund. Casto reserves the right to deny any claims that cannot be verified, or for which you have provided incomplete information.

The Low Fare Guarantee does not apply to unpublished rates that are not available to the general public. Rates not available to the general public include, but are not limited, to corporate discount airfares, government fares, military fares, meeting fares, wholesaler fares, or consolidator fares. It does not apply to package fares, such as airfares sold as part of a travel package. It does not apply to airfares where the carrier or itinerary details are unknown until after the purchase, nor does it apply to differences of less than five dollars ($ 5) or to service, booking, processing, shipping, paper-ticket, and other fees not charged on the airline ticket.

It does not apply to total airfares on another website that have been reduced as a result of a promotional discount, such as dollars off coupons, loyalty program discounts, or fly free offers.

Verification of Claims and Gift Card Redemption

Following submission of a claim, the Casto customer service team will contact you via e-mail. If we are unable to replicate the lower airfare, we may request additional information and documentation from you in order to verify the lower online airfare. Please keep a copy of all such documentation.

Upon receipt of proof of travel verification of the lower airfare, Casto will send you a gift card in the amount equal to the difference which will be redeemable for your next Casto purchase. One gift card will be issued for each traveler purchase. You can expect to receive your gift card within 10-15 business days upon verification of your claim.

The gift card is valid toward future purchases of travel products booked with Casto. To redeem a gift certificate on a new purchase, the new purchase must equal or exceed the total amount of the gift card. Gift cards are non transferable. Gift cards cannot be replaced or reissued for any reason.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, are not transferable or assignable and may not be purchased or auctioned and attempt to do so will result in the voiding of the gift card number. Gift cards have no cash value. Gift cards will only be issued to the Casto member account under which the qualifying airfare purchase was made. The gift card is valid for one (1) year from date of issuance. The gift card is the sole and exclusive compensation that will be provided for Casto’s failure to fulfill its Low Fare Guarantee.

If your qualifying purchase through Casto is for a refundable ticket and you later refund the ticket, and a gift card is issued in connection with the Casto Low Fare Guarantee as a result of your having submitted a claim based on finding a lower fare than the fare you paid on the refunded ticket, the gift card will become void and invalid. If your qualifying purchase is cancelled within 24-hours of purchase, your claim or any issued gift card will not be valid.

To redeem your gift card you will need to complete a new purchase via a Casto travel specialist. Purchases through www.casto.com are not eligible. Please notify the specialist prior to ticketing that you have a gift card. Gift cards are not redeemable to prior purchases.

Restrictions

Void where prohibited by law. Casto reserves the right to modify the Casto Low Fare Guarantee at any time without prior notice. Any modification will be effective upon posting of the modified Low Fare Guarantee Terms and Conditions on the www.casto.com website. Any cancellation will be effective upon removal of references to the Casto Low Fare Guarantee and the Casto Low Fare Guarantee Terms and Conditions from the www.casto.com website. If the Casto Low Fare Guarantee is canceled for any reason, the gift cards issued will continue to be valid.
