Position Summary 

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing the global corporate travel programs of Bay area corporations. They will facilitate new account implementations, work to maximize client usage of Casto services, develop relations with assigned accounts, and continue to grow account base.  The Business Development Manager will also be actively involved in all aspects of the business including working with our Corporate, Vacations, Groups, and Visa/Passport divisions.  Candidate shall be energetic, creative, enthusiastic, intelligent, analytical, and eager to take on responsibility and learn new skills. Candidate shall work in a fast paced environment and help create an exciting, fun, teamwork-oriented business group.

Responsibilities

  • Represent travel product solutions to client companies.
  • All aspects of travel management.
  • Provided outstanding client satisfaction, success and retention.
  • Facilitate communication and define client expectations while focusing on the client/ agency relationship.
  • Provide value to the client by enhancing the service and information we provide.
  • Fully understand client expectations.
  • Improve account management service.

Qualifications 

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of sales/account management, preferably in the travel industry.
  • Must have experience in Corporate travel management.
  • Proven track record of consultative account management techniques.
  • A High level of integrity with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent proven client service and solutions skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Excellent skill set in all areas of the Microsoft Office, with a particular focus upon PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Must have effective organization, time management and priority setting skills.
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently within the framework of the account management/sales team.
