Hyatt Tahoe Resort-Guest Room Hyatt Tahoe Resort-Guest Room 2

I spent a wonderful stay at the newly remodeled lakeside cottage at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort located in Incline Village, Nevada. The room had a cozy mountain elegance with colors of deep browns, reds, and greens to mimic the feel of a private log cabin. Complete with your own kitchenette, wood-burning fireplace (with additional wood always on hand right outside your door), a sleeper sofa, king size bed and all the bathroom amenities you can think of. It even had a place to store your skis right outside the door in a locker (no more hassle of dragging in wet boots and skis into your hotel room). In addition the room was equipped with all the high-tech modern conveniences one would ever need. It was outfitted with wall mounted flat screen TVs in both sitting areas, bedroom and bathroom. As well as the ability to hook up your iPOD to the in-room stereo! And to top it all off we had a stunning view of the snow capped mountains and beautiful lake Tahoe.

The service level exceeded any previous expectations I might have had. As we drove in we were immediately greeted by a valet with a cheerful smile. Then he instantly whisked our luggage to our room. The bellman was very courteous asking if he could be of any assistance and happily directed us to the front desk. To top off our check-in experience, we were offered a glass of champagne along with our room keys. Wow what service!

The Stillwater Spa was luxurious! Their attention to detail from the moment I walked in made me feel pampered and important. Some of the Hyatt Tahoe Resort-Spaamenities included a dry sauna, a steam shower, and a heavenly shower. The heavenly shower had multiple nozzles shooting water from all directions, for that ultimate, soothing experience. The Spa is designed to be an oasis for every traveler that is looking for a place to escape and relax in solitude. I also couldn’t resist the hot tub. The hot tub allows one to relax inside or offers one the ability to swim underneath a glass partition to unwind in the crisp mountain air.

We also couldn’t resist all the sounds and lights of Incline’s very own Casino. The second night we were very fortunate to have won $1200!

After a wonderful weekend of ultimate relaxation, I thought nothing could top it off. But, as we awoke on Sunday, a beautiful snowstorm had blanketed all of Tahoe with inches and inches of fluffy white snow.

As a seasoned traveler, I would highly recommend the Hyatt at Incline Village as your destination in the high Sierra Mountains at Lake Tahoe.
