If you are in the San Diego area, there is a place that you should visit ~ La Jolla. This beautiful and clean city in the central coast of San Diego is well know for the fine dining, upscale shopping and the luxury homes. But best of all are the beautiful beaches!

My two favorite beaches there are The Cove and LA Jolla Shores Beach.
The Cove, is a popular swimming spot, great for people of all ages. Here, you can walk along the beach, ride your bike, kayak, or just find a spot to sit and enjoy the beach. Outstanding restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. LA Jolla Shores beach, is a prime sandy beach.  The main beach here is a busy swimming area, popular for families and active beachgoers, walking, jogging, or doing nothing but relaxing. Some people prefer to go to the grassy park that sits in front of the beach for a picnic.

I have to say that my favorite hotel is the The Hyatt Regency La Jolla.  This hotel is well known for the elegant décor, location and beautiful surroundings. From the moment that you arrive you are surround by elegance.  The rooms at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla are 375 sq. ft. offering views of the pool, city or restaurant row. Stylish rooms have deluxe bedding, down comforter and duvet, work area with desk, and elegant bath. This hotel offers The Sporting Club and Spa, a 32,000 sq.-ft deluxe fitness spa, which is rated among the top 20 in the U.S. The facility includes free weights, exercise cycles, stair steppers, stair climbers, Nautilus, Cybex, Nordic Track, personal trainers, Jacuzzi, steam room, and aerobics.  In addition to all of that you can relax and pamper yourself with massage therapy, hydrotherapy and Yoga classes.

The food at the restaurants is delicious. Japengo restaurant offers outstanding sushi.  Flemings restaurant offers delicious steak and seafood. Try Perks restaurant for steaming cups of espresso, cappuccino and lattes, as well as, breakfast pastries each morning.

Location for The Hyatt Regency La Jolla is superb; restaurants, beach or shopping is located within 5-30 minutes the most.
